Avocado Cream Eggs: Your New Favorite Bite-Sized Snack

If you’ve ever wished your deviled eggs could feel more like a creamy guac-meets-protein snack, Avocado Cream Eggs are here to change the game. I made this this weekend for a family event and was reminded why I love them so much.

Think classic deviled eggs, but with a serious upgrade: ripe avocado blended into the yolks, a touch of tangy mustard, creamy cottage cheese, and your favorite spices. These are not only delicious, they’re also filling, nutritious, and shockingly simple to make. Every time I’ve taken these somewhere they disappear fast. Everyone loves them.

Why They’re So Good:

  • Protein-Packed: With eggs and cottage cheese, you’re getting a nice amount of protein that helps keep blood sugar steady and hunger away. I whip the cottage cheese to a cream. Seriously an excellent base to build the filling on. I like it better than mayo.
  • Healthy Fats: Avocados bring the kind of fats your brain and hormones love. plus they make the filling irresistibly creamy.
  • Low Carb & Blood Sugar Friendly: These little guys are perfect for keto, low-carb, or blood sugar-conscious eaters and that has been me the last several weeks as I’ve been doing some experiments and tracking blood sugar. These are an excellent choice if blood sugar matters to you.
  • Portable & Meal Prep Friendly: Make a batch and pop them in the fridge for snacks, lunches, or even a fancy appetizer tray. I like to take these to events. These are super popular. Also, if you are using them as meal prep to take in lunches, after you fill 2 halves, you can put them back together (filling to filling) and wrap in plastic wrap. Easy way to take them to have in your lunch.

Variations to Love:

  • Dairy-Free? If I’m making these and I know someone is dairy free, I will sub in cashew cream cheese for the whipped cottage cheese. Or I’ll go to an avocado based mayo. Also you can use a bit more avocado and a splash of lemon juice or olive oil to keep it smooth.
  • Bacon-Lovers Unite: Crumble crispy bacon on top for a savory crunch and trust me, the bacon ones go first.
  • Spice It Up: Add a touch of smoked paprika (my favorite), a dash of cayenne, or even a spoonful of sriracha to the filling mixture for a kick. But you can add whatever spice that would float your boat.
  • Fresh Herbs: I like to add dill or chives as both brighten the flavor and make them pop on the plate.

These do taste amazing, and are satisfying as they are a beautiful blend of protein and fat. These are easy to make and a wonderful snack to have ready in the fridge. They make a great addition to any meal.

Whether you’re entertaining, meal prepping, or just need something satisfying between meals, Avocado Cream Eggs are a win. They are healthy, easy to make and they taste indulgent. They’re doing amazing things for your body behind the scenes.
