These are such a treat. There are a LOT of ways to make chaffles. Or chauffles. I’ve seen it both ways. I make these in my little Dash waffle maker. It is best way to make these.
Many people add almond flour to them. I don’t. You can make them savory by adding in spices like rosemary, parsley, sage or thyme. Or you can make them sweet with some allulose or stevia mixed with cinnamon. You can top them with fruit, or use these as bread or buns for a burger or sandwiches like I did here.
When I google the word “chaffle” I find all kinds of recipes and uses. This is my take as I tend to focus on getting in the protein without all the added stuff.
